Printing Photos on Vintage Paper and Adding Embroidery

Venice, the floating city, is renowned for its mesmerizing canals that wind their way through the heart of the city and serve as the lifeblood of its enchanting charm. The canals of Venice have long captured the imaginations of artists, poets, and wanderers, painting a picture of romance and intrigue that has stood the test of time.

To get from the airport to the city center, you have to take a water taxi on what looks like a boat straight form a Bond movie. Quiet magical.

Holga 120n + Vintage Book Pages + Embroidery

My daughter loved getting to ride on the boat - I mean, imagine a city on water?! It’s wild! I caught her enjoying the wind in her hair and snapped this photo using my plastic Holga 120n camera. From there, I printed the photo on an old book that was falling apart. And then hand-embroidered the photo.
