West Texas Beaded Polaroid Desert Collection

This collection of photos were taken on my Polaroid Now+ (with film that went through the new super-scary CT scanners at the airport - which is why it’s so washed out). I took it at the Wandering Artist retreat in Marfa with Sara Johansen and an amazing group of artists.

Sara Flies a Kite

Oh my heart I love this one so much. When I got home, I was planning to embroider a paper airplane over the Polaroid, like I’ve done for a handful of my travel photos. But after looking at the photo, I decided it needed something much more whimsical. So, I created a kit and gave it to Sara to fly.

Isn’t it lovely?
